He doesn’t say ‘straight’, he says ‘strait’ (which is actually another word for narrow) - besides which he says the way to perdition is broad AND easy - one would assume twists and turns would make it more difficult!

Regardless of the origin of the labyrinth (and I enjoyed the explanation of the one at Chartres) it has been hijacked by New Agers. A prime example is the feminist nuns in San Diego who ran a retreat center with all the New Age offerings, including a labyrinth. What a surprise that they are “going out of business”!

That is wrong.

A labyrinth did not originate from the Christian belief, it originated from the pagan religions (e.g. Greek, Egyptian).

Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father not a labyrinth nor it is a symbol of a way to the Father.

Jesus Christ is a perfect being, the only one who keeps the Father’s commandments without compromise nor imperfection, and He is the perfect example of the Christian faith.
