People are ignorant? No, you are. Homosexuals are people and there is nothing wrong with acting on feelings that you were born with. There is nothing wrong with a man liking another man, or a woman liking another woman. It is ignorant that people do not realize that God, in fact, never truly condemned homosexuality. Facts, oh facts.

Facts? Or your personal interpretation of God?

We follow Christ, who in Sacred Scripture, spoke against homosexuality. Facts, oh facts.
 
First of all, I think some of her songs, we do not even have an option of liking. It’s sort of like a disease that plants it’s self in your brain and you have no choice but to host it. Lol. Being funny, of course.

She grew up going to a Catholic school and still, that I am aware and from what I read, claims to be Catholic. However, as I was watching her Monster Ball tour (I think that was what it was called?) with a friend the other day, she was praying to God in front of everyone while she was half naked and rubbing all over herself. Oh, and forgot the thrusting her hips toward the heavens part. To me, this was highly inappropriate. So, I think she uses this sort of stuff to get attention which I have zero respect for. I wouldn’t want anyone to be mocking anyone’s religion in that manner.

That being said, do I hate her? No. I think she’s a bit ridiculous at times. If you ever just feel uncomfortable with a song, change it.

There is always an option to like or dislike. We do have free will. She is a talented artist. And a very smart business woman. I dont know if you have ever read any of her interviews, but shes no dummy. Shes very intelligent. 👍
 
It comes down to discernment. We can appreciate art and music, but you have to ask yourself am I going to eat the meat and spit out the bones, or is this a dog poo brownie. I believe that you have to ask yourself if you believe lust, murder, etc is okay. If not, I wouldn’t watch her videos as that is what they DO promote (I have seen 2 or 3 of them for myself). I have heard, and I believe this to be the truth, that she is one of those who promotes the illuminati/satanism, etc. There is a lot of that symbolism in her videos and even her photo shoots. I wouldn’t get messed up in that.

However, if you want to listen to one of her songs that isn’t too bad on the radio or whatever, I don’t see a problem with that.

The biggest thing is, don’t ask what you are ALLOWED to do, ask what would Please God. Don’t serve out of fear but out of LOVE. Not everything is beneficial to your life. If your life is truly focused on God, you might feel differently about some things. Your spirit will just tell you when something seems off.
 
Also you aren’t born homosexual its a choice. You are right they are people, but how does that change anything.

Oh, my issue was not with her intelligence or even her as a business woman. And I thought that I was trying to explain that if whomever posted this felt uncomfortable with her songs, to just not listen to those. But hey, if you like her, go for it. Like I said, I do not hate her.

My issue was with this incident on stage which caused me to lose respect for her. That’s it.

Personally, I wouldn’t (and don’t) buy and listen to her music. I recommend Bon Jovi.

Yes, absolutely she is talented, even brilliant-------in fact, I would call her even MORE brilliant than Madonna, believe it or not----but does that mean that what she sings about is good for our nation’s the world’s kids?
Is it in line with Godly values and the teachings of the One True Church?

Our nation is not built upon the One True Church. It is built upon the constitution. Freedom of speech is in their somewhere I think.

thanks man. I am a metal head and have been defending myself from the witch-hunters and fans of satanic panic since the early 1980s.

its always great to see that there are others out there (here), who don’t think completely different than me.
