Hi,

When priests of his church choose to become laicised and get married because he is in deep love, will Jesus see it as good?

I don’t presume to know the mind of Jesus, but Jesus permits it through his holy church so it isn’t a sin for them if they go through the church’s procedures for it.

It is not possible for a priest to marry after ordination, even if laicised. The Holy Orders were still valid.

A laicised priest can validly marry if a dispensation is granted by the Pope. Holy Orders are a canonical impediment to marriage, but they are not an absolute impediment.

Holy Orders is a Canonical impediment to marriage. As such, it can be dispensed.

Other examples of Canonical impediments is “Disparity of Cult”, the marriage of a Catholic to a non-Baptized person). Examples are the marriage of St. Monica (mother of St. Augustine) to Patricus (a pagan) or St. Cecilia to St. Valerian (who was a pagan at the time of marriage)

In each of these cases, St. Monica and St. Cecilia would have required permission of the bishop to marry. Without that permission the marriage is invalid, but with that permission, the marriage is valid.

Likewise with a dispensation from the impediment to Holy Orders. With such a dispensation, the marriage is valid.

I stand corrected. Ha, funny how all four of you responded to me, though. 😛
