I’m all for thinning the herd. If they want out, let 'em out…
Forgive me if this question has been answered, but in what sense are you for “thinning the herd”? Priests aren’t endangered, but certainly belong on the “protected list”. Do we have too many priests to suit you? :confused:

That would be easier if the bulk of the laity weren’t quite as invisible as they are. 😦
 
Why are you delving into the private life of another? There is a decided lack of courtesy reflected in this sort of question. Didn’t your mother teach you better?

Hello Matthew. I do not know to whom you are referring to with the above questions. I am the one who posted the original question, if you are asking this of me, I was not delving into the private life of another, I was given a flyer that said the person in quesion was a laicized priest and I wanted to know what the term meant as I had never heard it before.
