Which is more important to Roman Catholics: the form of the service or the language of the service? Would those of a more ‘traditional’ bent be satisfied with NOM in Latin, or perhaps TLM translated into English?

I would want one more option:
Tridentine Mass in both Latin and English, in that the readings and prayer sof the day (opeing prayer, prefaces, prayer after communion, etc.) be in English, while the fixed prayers, Confietor, Gloria, Credo, Canon be in Latin.

Personally, I prefer the Tridentine rite (Mass of St. Pius V), either in Latin or English. While I believe the Mass of Paul VI is certainly valid, I don’t believe it rises to the same level of reverence or God-centeredness.

I love the N.O in Latin, but it is more of a personal preference for the language and not because I think it is necessarily more reverent. If it often proves to be more reverent it is probably because those involed in the N.O. in Latin are deeply dedicated to the Mass and would conduct it with equal reverence in either language. I’m very happy with the N.O. in English when it is done well.

I think it would be very beneficial for visitors and potential converts if there were a Tridentine Mass in, say, 75% vernacular and 25% Latin. That way, they can experience Catholic reverence at its finest, and simultaneously appreciate the beauty of the Latin language while getting most of what’s being said without having to look at a missal (IMO, missal-browsing during Mass takes away from the experience.)
