Without too much detail, I find myself falling again. Old habits have been creeping back and the enthusiasm I had has been slipping. I do not want to become like how I used to be. I guess I just do not understand what is happening spiritually. How can I hold on? I was praying the rosary daily and still had this downward trend. Please pray that I can get back on track.

Gracious and merciful Father, please come to their assistance.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom in your time of need.

Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;

Something that occasionally helps me stay on track is realizing all the difference God has made in my life. At least for me, there are certain situations and blessings that I have received that I know for a fact are the Lords intervention in my life. If you can think of things like that, it helps. I’ll pray for you and good luck

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,

of thy womb,

Don’t give up hold on.

St. Michael the archangel, defend us in battle,
be our protection against the snares and
wickedness of the devil. May God rebuke him,
we humbly pray, o prince of heavenly host, by
the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all
the evil spirits who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Trust in Our Blessed Lord who knows, understands and loves you. Lay your doubts and fears at His feet. Stop fretting and get on with your life, keeping as busy and active as possible. Trust in Him and all will be well.

God bless you. 🙂

I can relate and I pray for you believing God will lead you to where He wants you to be. An Episcopal priest once told me, it is only by the grace of God any of us are where we are. And that of course includes if you find yourself back in the fold of your Catholic faith! And I think there may be no truer words than what Emily2014 said: The Lord knows and understands us! Sometimes I believe better than we understand ourselves! God bless you as you journey in your faith with Him by your side. Peace be with you always.

Have you seen the movie the 10 Commandments? There’s a scene where Moses goes to see the burning bush and God speaks to him. It’s a great scene and one I like to bring to my mind when I’m at Liturgy. The burning fire of God is present in the tabernacle but God chooses to remain hidden. Bring this to your mind and think how awesome it is that God is with us! We don’t have to be Moses climbing a barren mountain to find God. The inaccessible has made Himself accessible!

6 minutes from the movie, at the burning bush…

Moses face was so radiant the people knew he had come into the presence of God, *and lived. *
If only we could see the radiance of our faces when we leave the church!
We will be able to see the glory of God coming from within us in the next life.

Hallowed be thy name

On earth as it is in heaven

But deliver us from evil

O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, who brought forth the Son of God still remaining a Virgin, assist us in this necessity. O Star of the Sea, help us, and show us that you are our Mother.
  • O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the depths of our heart to help us in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power. O show us that you are our Mother.*
O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Sweet Mother, we place this cause in your hands. Amen
