Large Print Catholic Study Bibles

does anyone have, or know of, a large size/print Catholic study bible, that they can recommend. i have only been able to find a standard size New Jerusalem Bible at the Catholic bookshop, this far
 
There isn’t really a large print Catholic Study Bible that I know of. ‘The Catholic Study Bible’ by Oxford University Press uses about font size 10. There is the ‘Catholic Scripture Study Bible’ by Saint Benedict Press that comes in large print (size 11), but it is an apologetics Bible more so than a standard study Bible, it does not have chapter introductions or commentary notes. The NAB(RE) Bible comes in a large print, though not listed as a study Bible, it has chapter introduction, commentary notes and maps. It is a translation that is used here in the USA. The NAB(RE) does use historical-critical type chapter introductions and commentary notes (which is not popular with some on this forum). Even the ecumenical study Bibles come only in size 9-10 print. 🤷 Maybe one day! 😉

You may want to consider an e-book reader (like the Kindle device or a similar app on iPad, etc.), which would allow you to enlarge the text according to your preference. There are a few good study bibles available in this format.

That’s what I was going to say. The Ignatius Catholic Study Bible is available as an e-book. The Old Tesdtament books in the series (so far just Genesis and Exodus) are significantly larger than their New Testament counterparts. But I’m not sure what the exact font size is.

But, yeah, if you have an e-book reader, you can make the text size as large as you need. Any book can easily become a large print book. 🙂
 
apologies.my wording is a little unclear.the larger standard size font would be acceptable. thank you for the suggestion on electronic media. i have a pocket New Jerusalem Bible. I like the chapter headings and modern translation of the NJB. ideally a NJB study bible with chapter summaries, footnotes, cross references and concordance, is what i would like to have.thank you
