what is the official catholic title of the last book of the NT? I’ve seen it listed as Revelation or Apocolypse.
 
There is no “official Catholic title” for the book.

The name Apocalypse comes from the Greek. The name Revelation comes from the Latin. In both cases, the words mean the same thing in their respective languages, i.e, “Unveiling” or “Uncovering.”

That is about as close as you will come to an “official” title.
