Based on everything you know about the bible and end times and about history and about worldly news, where do you think we are on gods timeline?
I already know tons about this topic but I want to hear what others have to say on this matter.

what I have to say is irrelevant
what does the bible say?
that we do not know the day nor the hour, God alone knows
that is good enough for me
enough to worry about my own “last days” which could be any moment now

God says no man knows the day or the hour, but he also said to watch for the signs of the season. Which is end time prophecies. Obviously it wouldn’t happen right now, we are still waiting for other prophecies to be fulfilled. But i respect your opinion.

I focus on growing my own holiness and don’t worry about end times and all that. End times stuff is a distraction, really, and totally unnecessary to one’s Christian life.

I’m talking from the christian perspective like in revelation. The people who said that jesus would come back before then were idiots because isreal didn’t become a nation until 1948 and half the prophecies hadn’t been fulfilled until just recently.

I’m not talking end of the world. Maybe you don’t know what im talking about. Read revelation and that will give you a good insight.

I took a semester class on the book of Revelation my Sophomore year of college. I’ve also read it many times.

We still have a long time yet. Unfortunately or fortunately, if one is looking at their own state not soon enough but looking at the sate of the world as a whole i hope it is a long way off, for the sake of those that need to repent.

so are you saying that this Israel becoming a nation is a divine sign, a fulfillment of some prophecy ?

Technically it is a prophecy.

I just take what the bible says in revelation and try to see where it puts 2010 on his timeline. I think many of the prophecies will be fulfilled soon enough and that many of the have been fulfilled. And by soon, I guess i mean within the next 100 years.
Specifically within the next 40 for some common ones.
Where do you think we are? I’m curious what others have to say on this.

and please don’t think im ‘conspiracy crazy’.

Thats fair. I just use the prophecies and see where they fit in with time.
