My soul mate is 60 and has been widowed for 14 years, she was originally married in a Prostant Chapel, She was a faithful wife for 24 years. She is not Catholic but a devout Christian. I am soon to be 65 and am a devout Catholic and have been widowed for 10 onths. My deceased spouse and I were faithful to each other for 36 yrs of marriage. We plan to marry in the fall after we take care of the trust, prenup, etc documents are executed and after we introduce each other to our immediate families including 3 children and their spouses and 6 grand children. Our children and grandchildren are age and geographically spread out. We would like to wait to get married until my oldest soon gets back from Afganstan. My future spouse will probably not become Catholic and I will always be Catholic. Do we need to be married by a Priest? Can we have sex before marriage?
