Does your misspelling change the nature of God whom you worship. The Lord God is one. There is no other. If one worships God, there is only one object of worship. One can be wrong about the nature of God, but that does not make two Gods instead of one. A man can love a woman and be very wrong about who she is and what she is like. Another man may love her because he knows this woman. That does not make the one woman into two women.

Consider this, even at best, we can still know only a fraction of who God is. Does that mean we do not worship God because we do not know Him fully?
Funny, I’m not really that bad at spelling just not good at typing. Yes the Lord God is one but how do you think God the father feels about how we mistreat His son.

So by disagreeing with the last four but yet I’m on the same page as the other 261 popes.
You’re not, actually. Because the other 261 have a pretty solid grasp of the Old Testament. Remember; we crib the first portion of the Old Testament directly from Jewish Scriptures.

I don’t care how many fancy words they use, when they deny Christ, they do not worship the same Gad as me. Most of them hate Christ.
So you disobey the Church because of your personal beliefs - how very convenient for you, and how very Protestant.

Also, define “most.” Do you mean the current Jews, or the Jews from Christ’s time? Denying his divinity does not mean hatred.

PS to OP: Might as well rename this thread “Do Jews worship the same God?” It appears this is the topic we have decided to stick to. Apologies for highjacking your thread, but of course such statements as above should be addressed.

MODERATOR NOTICE

Vatican II and the Holy See have spoken quite clearly on the place of Muslims and Jews in Salvation History. Any statement that devalues what the Holy See has said or that devalues Judaism or Islam in any way is contrary to what Catholics should be posting on a Catholic site. Therefore, your posts will be removed and a penalty will be issued, even a ban.

Keep it consistent with what the Holy See is saying and you should have no problems with CAF

The Jews worship the same eternal God as Christians. John, in his Gospel, unfolds the deeper theology of Genesis 1. And as it has been said, ‘what was hidden in the Old Testament, is revealed in the New.’ If the Jews do not recognize the Trinity, how does that harm or offend us? That God is one is half the understanding or more. That He is one in three Persons, will be revealed to all in the fullness of time.

The Jews are our spiritual fathers- patriarchs, even ;)- and should be treated with love and respect.🙂
