He was our Auxiliary Bishop here for many years.

He seldom speaks Spanish in Mass though. 🤷

Well, we’re pretty heavy on Hispanics. We have the Carpet MIlls and the entire Chicken industry here. When you have 60 Confirmandi that speak Spanish, and the pastor requests a Spanish, or at least bi-lingual ceremony, it’s pretty disappointing.

I pray he enjoys his new post. He’s a very nice man. Good homilies.
