Is it true that the stress of syllables in spoken and sung Latin is nit the same? We say Di-es Ir-ae…but sing di-ES ir-AE? What should a beginner think about this? I watched a video about this. The expert in the video was Father Eduard Perrone.

What does the pronounciation of the ecclesiastical Latin have to do with my question? I am confused how that would answer my question as he did say that the stress of the syllables in sung Latin was different from the spoken Latin.
