Can anyone give me church documents on why Some Latin should be kept in the [edited] O. F. mass? Vatican and USCCB documents will work!

From Sacrosanctum Concilium, the Vatican II document on the liturgy:

“Particular law remaining in force, the use of the Latin language is to be preserved in the Latin rites.”

The whole of Veterum Sapientia, from 1961, by Pope John XXIII; it was issued shortly before the Council was opened.

Sacrosanctum Concilium (Vatican II document on the liturgy) n. 36/1 and n. 54.

Inter Oecumenici n. 59, from 1964, the first instruction on the implementation of SC.

Voluntati Obsequens and Jubilate Deo, from 1974, by Pope Paul VI; the first was a note accompanying the second, which was a minimal repertoire of Gregorian chant for use in parishes.

Sacramentum Caritatis n. 62, from 2007, by Pope Benedict XVI.

GIRM 41.
