Latin Mass and kneeling during mass

Is the Latin mass ever said in English? Also I recently attended a new church and there was no kneeling during the mass. Why? Thanks for your help.

“The Latin Mass” is the wrong terminology. There is the Ordinary Form (the one most of us are familiar with) and the Extraordinary Form (the Mass from the 1962 Missal, also referred to as the Tridentine Mass). Both forms are Latin Masses - with a few words of Greek. The Ordinary Form can be said in the language of the people. The Extraordinary Form is only said in Latin & Greek.

No. Not in the Catholic Church.

If by Latin Mass you mean the Tridentine Mass (also known as the Traditional Latin Mass, the Mass of Blessed Pope John XIII, the 1962 Missal, and the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite among other things) then it is required to say it in Latin.

The Mass that is said in most parishes (called the Novus Ordo Mass, the Ordinary Form the Roman Rite, the 1970 Missal, and the Mass of Pope Paul VI among other things) can be said in Latin although it is normally said in the vernacular.

Some Anglican Churches have what is basically the Tridentine Mass in English. But, not any Catholic Churches.

Also I recently attended a new church and there was no kneeling during the mass. Why? Thanks for your help.

In some Churches it is physically difficult, if not impossible for people to kneel. This can happen for instance if there are a large number of people present. Or, maybe Mass is being held in a Church hall while the Church itself is being renovated. If this is the case then there may be good reason not to kneel.

If the Church is built with no kneelers then that is not a good enough reason not to kneel.
