I’m a vernacular Mass kind of guy. I simply don’t feel led to seek out the Extraordinary Form. At all. As I’ve only been Catholic since '03, and there’s no Latin Mass–as best as I can tell–anywhere close by, I have never been to a Latin Mass, and would be totally lost.
However, my 14 year old son recently expressed a desire to attend a Latin Mass. When I said something to the effect of, “Son, we wouldn’t be able to understand the Liturgy, or know any of the responses,” he simply said, “I want to learn.”
Ok, 'nuff said. I gotta get him to a Latin Mass. I mean, if a kid that age is interested in going to ANY Mass, isn’t it my obligation to get him there?
Any help y’all could give me would be appreciated. There’s gotta be a website, right?
Peace,
