Latin Masses in NYC area

For a person visiting NYC what churches in the area say the latin Mass? Could any one recomend some. Which are the best etc. It does not have to be in Manhattan. Just the general NYC area.
 
There are a number of places in the Archdiocese of NY and the Diocese of Rockville Centre. The EF is very scarce in the Diocese of Brooklyn. There are also others in neighboring NJ. You might want to have a look here.

11:00AM same as above

Weekdays:)
Church of the Holy Innocents 37th&Broadway
Weds 515PM & Sat 1PM (Low Mass or Missa Cantata)
Holy Days 615PM Solemn High Mass
First Fridays 630PM at Church of The Guardian Angel 21st&10th

There’s the 10:00 mass at Holy Rosary Church in downtown Jersey City, a short ride from Manhattan on the PATH. The schola is very good; I’d say as good as professional musicians.
 
If they told you they are not in communion with Rome, then I’d take them at their word.

First Friday Latin Mass, 6:30 pm at Church of the Guardian Angels, 10th Avenue and 21st Street in Manhattan.

Last Friday Fr. Z was the celebrant for the solemn requiem mass offered for our deceased priests. The Gregorian chant choir is excellent- I think they must all be professional singers.

If the OP is in New York City, I wouldn’t go to Pequannock, because I believe that would require driving into and out of the city, which would take quite a bit of time. If nothing in the city works, Most Holy Rosary is probably the best option, because it only requires mass transit (technically, in this case all travel involved is Mass transit, ba-dom-chh) and would be the easiest to get to.

I looked it up and I found out that there is a bus from NYC that goes to Pequannock.

If you want the real thing you’ll need to head over the bridge to St. Pete to St. Jude The Apostle. I realize this could be a 20-35 minute drive, depending on what part of Tampa you are in, but that’s the closest. Next time I’m in Flordia, I plan on attending.

thank you. i have been there. it is quite far for me. with the price of gas, it becomes difficult. their Mass is at 1230 PM.
 
I am a parishoner at Holy Rosary in Jersey City. We have a High Mass every Sunday as previously noted. After Mass, we have convivium downstairs and everyone is extremely friendly and nice. However, this coming Sunday, 11/15, we have a brunch which starts right after Mass so there will not be many people at convivium. If you come, ask for Mary Margaret.

Another church is St. Anthony of Padua in West Orange but I don’t know if you can get there by bus. This is a parish run by the Institute of Christ the King. The chapel in Pequannock is run by the FSSP.

We are so lucky to have so many choices when it comes to the EF in this part of the country. I know in the San Diego area, for example, they are few and far between.
