Latin Phrases Needed

I am going to get Chi Rho tattoo with an Alpha and Omega. I would like to put a short Biblical or Catholic phrase along with it, in Latin, of course. 🙂

Here are a few I’ve considered:

gloria in excelsis
Glory to God in the highest

Agnus Dei
The Lamb of God

Dominus illuminatio mea
The Lord is my light

Before I make this big decision I’d like a few more ideas.

By the way, “Glory to God in the highest” should be “Gloria in excelsis Deo” (although I do remember reading somewhere that “excelsis” does not literally mean “the highest”—but never mind that.)
 
A very good friend of mine (who happens to be a high school Latin teacher) has a Chi Rho on his hand. They make lovely tattoos! 🙂

“ad majorem Dei gloriam” (Jesuits) – to the greater glory of God

“ora et labora” (Benedictines, unofficially) – pray and work

I’m leaning towards “AD MAJOREM DEI GLORIAM.”

I also like “ECCE AGNUS DEI” – behold the Lamb of God.

Soler - thanks for the correction. I am going to have my friend who is a Latin teacher go over which ever one I pick.

Yes, it is more literally “on high” or “in the heights”, but “in the highest” is not completely outside its connotaion.
