I have no idea if this is in the right section, but does anyone know how to say “Mother Most Pure” in Latin?

Thanks!

If you check out this link, you will find both the English and Latin versions of the Litany of Loreto (aka, the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary). I don’t understand Latin, but this site lists both versions, so you can compare them. I hope this helps.🙂

Mater purissima appears to be the Latin.

Um, by the way, second question:

How do you pronounce “mater”? I know enough Latin to instantly recognize the word and its meaning, but I think I’ve heard it said differently.

Is it “may-otter” or just “motter”? Or are those BOTH wrong?
