Obviously you haven’t read “EWTN, A Network Gone Wrong” by Christopher Ferrara.

I flipped through this book once and it also made such claims as that Natural Family Planning is a cult! Since when is a woman learning about her period considered a cult?

Christopher Ferrara is a conspiracy theorist, looking for meniachal actions in innocent places. Isn’t there enough evil visible in the world without trying to find it in good things?

Try reading the book instead of **flipping **through it. Then you can come to an educated and unbiased opinion.

The problem some people have with EWTN is a big conspiracy theory about Mother Angelica being booted out of power, as proven by the fact that she isn’t as involved as she used to be. She’s an old lady, for goodness sakes! I’m sure she wasn’t as much forced out as she was ready for a break! I’m sorry, but even people as holy as Mother Angelica get old a decrepid and have to do less and less.

So what do you base your ideas on? You can’t just pull feelings and thoughts out of your head because you like them and they seem right to you, and then profess them to be true, you have to base your thoughts on facts and on truths.

So I did a mini investigation into this Christopher A. Ferrara, I thought his name was familiar to me. Like I said previeously when I left Catholicism I was into extreme Traditionalism and that lead to the SSPX and the Remenant of which Christopher A. Ferrara is Columnist.

Now the remnant is what I would consider extreme and I have had enough of that stuff. Ever since my parents death at the start of this month that type of extremism just doesn’t hold any appeal for me anymore, in reality not a lot does anymore.

Maybe I’m wrong right now and if I am I will admit it. Seems like for some reason I have been always drawn to religion extremism. When I left I was into the SSPX and all that became a Calvinist because it didn’t seem to go far enough. Now I’m back and happy to just be known as a Christian who happens to be Catholic

My editing time is gone, so to add to what I posted I can rightly say it was the extremism of this type (SSPX and Remnant) that lead me to question the Churches true “traditionalism” which lead the way out of Catholicism and into further extremism (Calvinism) for me.

Unbiased? How unbiased are any of us really? How unbiased is Mr. Ferrara? I imagine this whole book came about because EWTN has said that Lefabvre was excommunicated and the SSPX Masses are illicit and Mr Ferrara, being an avid SSPX supporter, didn’t like it.

The reason I only flipped through it is because I can only take so much criticism of good things before I get upset. People like Mr. Ferrara are paid to find problems in everything! If Mother Angelica hadn’t had a stroke and stepped down from her position, Mr. Ferrara would have included her in his conspiracy. I can see now how Mother Angelica started this network to lull people into a false sense of security and then slowly fill their heads with her modernist lies.

You can’t just pull feelings and thoughts out of your head because you like them and they seem right to you, and then profess them to be true, you have to base your thoughts on facts and on truths.

Amen to that! Now if only Mr. Ferrara would follow this advice…

Specifically, as Catholic as Pope Pius XII. The possible abuse of the method doesn’t make the whole thing un-Catholic.
