Pax Christi:
Laudate Dominum (O, Praise the Lord) is the opening words of Psalm 117:
It is the shortest Psalm, and is as follows:
Laudate Dominum omnes gentes laudate eum omnes populi
Quoniam confirmata est super nos misericordia eius et veritas Domini manet in saeculum
O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
For his mercy is confirmed upon us: and the truth of the Lord remaineth for ever.
This song is a beautiful rendition of these opening words, performed at Holy Mass celebrated by our beloved Holy Father, Francis.
We live in hard times. Many of us won’t be able to go to Mass tomorrow. May this show unto us the love of our soon-to-be Resurrected Lord (only a couple more weeks!).
