Laurie is 15. She is a pregnant rape victim. She plans to adopt out her child, then commit suicide.

I’m working with her.

Prayer to St. Dymphna

Lord, our God, you graciously chose St. Dymphna as patroness of those afflicted with mental, emotional, and nervous disorders. She is thus an inspiration and a symbol of charity to the thousands who ask her intercession.

Please grant, Lord, through the prayers of this pure youthful martyr, relief and consolation to all suffering such trials, and especially Laurie.

We beg you, Lord, to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna on our behalf. Grant all those for whom we pray patience in their sufferings and resignation to your divine will.

Please fill them with hope, and grant them the relief and cure they so desire.
We ask this through Christ our Lord who suffered agony in the garden. Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, Divine Saviour, we beg Thy mercy to be upon Thy child Laurie. Grant her an abundance of Thy Divine Grace to console, heal and strengthen her. Grant her the help and protection of Thy Immaculate Mother. Drive far away from her all depression and thoughts of suicide. Amen

Remembering you, Laurie and her unborn child in my daily prayers. God bless!

Dear Lord, help those who have been victimized by crimes of any type to recover their faith and trust in people. May they allow themselves the time and find the strength to overcome feelings that may embitter them. May they find comfort in the assurance that they are not responsible for the harm that has been done to them. Following Your example, may they begin to face the challenge to forgive others through their continued prayer and faith in You. Help them to conquer their fears, calm their anger and anxiety, and heal in mind, body, and spirit. Amen.

Laurie, I bless you with the special blessing of our Blessed Mother. May the power of the Holy Spirit come upon you.

May she feel God’s mercy and love. Praying for the three of you.

Prayer for Victims of Sexual Assault

Dear God of endless love,
ever caring, ever strong,
always present, always just:
You gave your only Son
to save us by the Blood of His Cross.
Gentle Jesus, shepherd of peace,
Join our anguishing souls to your own suffering
the pain of all who have been hurt
in Body, Mind, and Spirit
by those who betrayed the trust placed in them.
Hear our cries as we agonize
over the harm done to our sisters and brothers.
Breathe wisdom into our prayers,
soothe restless hearts with hope,
steady shaken spirits with faith:
Show us the way to justice and wholeness,
enlightened by truth and enfolded in your mercy.
Holy Spirit, comforter of hearts,
heal your people’s wounds
and transform our brokenness.
Grant us courage and wisdom, humility and grace,
so that we may act with justice
and find peace in you.
We ask this Healing through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

:gopray:

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now ever shall be world without end
Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.
