Praying for your intentions and for Medical Doctors that may be seen in the future for it is nice to have already prayed for them (Our Lord knows who they are even if not born yet:wink:). Prayer of Apology and Thanksgiving because of human forgetfulness to say “thank You” to Our Lord. . . . 😉 🙂

Act of Hope and Confidence in God

O merciful Father,
Who have wonderfully fashioned man in Your own image,
and have made his body to be a temple of the Holy Spirit,
sanctify, we pray You, our doctors and nurses and all those whom you have called to
…study and practice the arts of healing the sick and the prevention of disease and pain.
Strengthen them in body and soul,
and bless their work,
that they may give comfort to those for whose salvation Your Son became Man,
lived on this earth, healed the sick,
and suffered and died on the Cross.
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls. Amen

Prayers for those who are experiencing sickness and vomitting in the bathroom. Especially those undergoing cancer treatments and small children with stomach flu:

Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us. Amen.
 
Dear loving God, did she really never shower? Was the salon really her only grooming? I can’t look at anyone with that “set” hair style without thinking they don’t shower either and I’m totally grossed out!!! I mean, I now understand why she stank so bad of purfume. Eeewwww. Please help me with this. Make my thoughts clean and take away my bad judgemental thoughts on these grooming things … help me to work with her old grooming patterns and still get the incontenence cleaned up … ewwwww … I’m not woman enough to even think about it without totally freaking out! I beg you please, take us off diaper duty!!! And also beg you that my children never have to change our diapers. Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy! Mother Mary, pray for us in this hour of poopy. Amen
 
Dear wonderful God, please give my FIL direction and fortitude to change HIS wife’s diapers. I change them when I can, but this is not enough for human dignity and safe sanitation. Please also let me forgive my FIL for squandering my husband’s life saving because he won’t take care of his wife … let me forgive my MIL for being a shop-a-Holic and always wanting her butt kissed by every retailer, fireman, waitresses and such when she never had the money … well, I guess she had the money in real estate but didn’t get cash until her memory was gone and now I’m left with ice 10,000 pieces of clothes with price tags on them that she never wore — totally weird sickness there!!!.. let me forgive my husband for not letting them fall earlier when they were young enough to take the fall and responsability for their own lives. Please let the three of them quit being so smug about getting a load of laundry (containing two pieces) done … arrrg … I need lots of changing in the heart for forgive and THEY need to step up to the game and get their job done please??? It’s just a diaper …good grief!!! Amen.
 
I’m an idiot. Please God, fix me, lead me, and let me not be so hard hearted. It would help to have that couch (now a toilet in the middle of the living room) to be destroyed. Amen
