It’s not about grace. It’s about helping any way possible to ensure the Mass is celebrated in the most solemn and abuse-free manner possible.

Is your church doing anything right? I am not being sarcastic, but it sounds like a mess all the time. How can anyone worship God in an atmosphere which is so messed up and everyone is upset and angry all the time?

I think it is noble and good that you are working to help put it back on track, but I hope you are able to maintain your sanity doing so. I also worry that if you have children that the battle for their faith is put in danger by being part of such a badly run parish.

I think if you have no children it’s a good thing to fight for the causes you mention. But if you have children I would move to another parish if possible.
