Please pray for me. I am a teacher and just found out that I may be laid off of work due to the economy. Please pray that I don’t lose my job- please.

Thank you in advance for your prayers and God bless all of you.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is
the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Thank you for you prayers. I do appreciate it. The economy is not at all good in my area, including jobs for teachers. Various school districts have had to lay off teachers in the last year, so jobs in my field are hard to find. So thank you again.

my DH is also a teacher and had his job eliminated in june. we prayed and prayed and had everyone here praying hard for us. we were blessed with a really good offer. i will pray for you. the kids are the ones that are being sacrificed due to this economy. too many good teachers are being let go. best of luck to you. twk

This is a tough time for everyone, including teachers.

You are just experiencing what tens of millions of other hard-working Americans have already felt, only much, much later.

Thank your lucky stars that you have made it this far without being laid off. The private sector has been pretty much demolished – the banking sector, automotive manufacturing, real estate, construction – you name it, and pretty much every sector has been hard hit. There are few exceptions, and they are very rare.

The public sector is just now feeling the pinch that the private sector has felt going on 2+ years now. Firemen, police officers, teachers, etc. are all now starting to get downsized.

Be gracious that you still have a job. Many do not. Many have lost their homes, their livelihoods. Many have filed for divorce due the heavy strain on marriages and families during these dire economic times. Consider yourself lucky…and blessed.

My best advice? Volunteer this weekend at your local soup kitchen.

I will remember you in my prayers this evening. May you take refuge in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ in this time of trial and uncertainty. And may Saint Joseph, the patron saint of workers, pray for you and all your colleagues at this time.

Hi!
I just prayed for you for a while. You can also ask our Blessed Mother the Virgin Mary's intercession -through the Rosary- for your deepest needs.
