Lay Organization for East-West Reunification?

Greetings,

I’m wondering if anyone knows of any lay organizations dedicated to working toward the reunification of the Catholic and Orthodox, whether by building cross-cultural friendships, increasing personal understanding, advocating for reunification to the authorities of the East and West, or focusing on specific issues in prayer. I know that many in high places on both sides have been working for a very long time; and it’s starting to look like reunification, at least with some major branches of the Eastern Orthodox, may happen in our lifetime! Are there currently any lay apostolates designed to help this great cause?

You may try reading up on the Miracle of Damascus. Myrna Nazzour is a mystic in Damascus, Syria, who has received several visions of Mary Theotokos, asking that we pray for and work for unity between the Eastern and Western Churches.
