We are all called to evangelize within the doors of our Mother Church and beyond and I feel that some Parishes the Lay are taking over. At our many Parishes our Priest are positioned as Sacramental Ministers and the Lay running the Parish. How fruitful can this be? Yes, we need the participation of the Lay but… Yet, we need our Shephards and never forget we are the flock. We the people are called to be Church and help our Priest, support them and the Church in community, family and working together. We do need our Priest and must pray unceasingly. Many Lay people are in charge and true many are just not there. We all need to grow and learn as we go along. There is ill feelings among many parishioners and it is getting worst and worst at many parishes and our Priest are frustrated in many Parishes. They don’t need this, they are few “now” and their desire is for us to work together. Sometimes you see the same people involved in Church duties and we need to share not disengage others like if they are not needed. I look up to my Pastor and Priest. We do need them and structure and we are called to respect the Spirit upon each other and act mature, as God uses us differently. It is a mystery how God uses us but yes, some have more gifts than others through the Holy Spirit, He is the full control but we are each unique to God. Together we build but not without our Priesthood!!!
