I have NEVER had to pay. Not when I came into full communion back in '07. Never. I don’t pay for confession, or the Eucharist, or when I was anointed. Im never asked about my contributions.

The only time they are ever brought up is at the beginning of the year when I get verification from the rectory for tax purposes.

Pay for the Sacraments???
I know. Apparently Mormons, have to pay to get into the Temple and if they can’t get into the Temple they can’t get to heaven. well according to TexanKnight.

Stephen, I want to thank you for bringing up my old posts. There is nothing quite like seeing my errors…helps me to continue my repentance.

I was wrong. I was in error. Obeying God is, in fact, a “payment”…but I did not say it in a loving way. I said it to injure. That was wrong.

Thank you

You just have to ignore the ones you threw at the Mormon Church. The ones that proved the Mormon Church was false
No…I do not have to ignore them. I need to accept I was in error and repent. Again, thank you.

perhaps not in your parish…there was in mine.
As has been pointed out you must pay far and away more than 200 dollars to get sealed in the temple, so even if the church were to insist on a fee for a wedding it would be negligible in comparison to the requirement of 10 percent of your income in order to have a temple sealing.

So why are you here? To discuss the error of being a Catholic? To live out your repentance with a Catholic audience?

He’s trolling, it’s not new behavior, just 180 out from before. Not really sure here but first he was Mormon trolling Catholics, then he was Catholic trolling Mormons now he’s back to Mormon trolling Catholics.🤷 He should at the least learn how to use quotes, my kids could do it at 6 years old.

I will not compare a commandment from God to a fee charged by a priest. Sorry.

Nope. I have not said anyone is in error. I simply responded to what people said about the LDS Church.

Now a personal knock?

Sorry…some folks are more talented at discussion boards…some are talented at law…and city council, and military officer-ship. We all have our talents.

No…not trolling. I thought I had friends here. I guess friendship here depends on your Church. and when things are said about the LDS Church, any response that includes a comparison is considered an attack.

You couldn’t receive communion because you married a non-Catholic?
Yes. Since it was a non-Catholic wedding, I was committing adultery. I needed to get my first marriage annulled, even though we were not Catholic when we married.

You had friends here among the LDS posters the first time around didn’t you, but you trolled them too. Trolling/baiting is a behavior, it’s not a personal characteristic, it’s a choice, to point out that someone is exhibiting baiting is not a “personal knock”.

I’ve read your posts on MD&D and wondered how long you could go on without stirring up trouble. Apparently it’s just under a year, I suppose you could call this last comment a “personal knock” but then it could just be an observation. Wouldn’t it be better to spend these 93 days till your blessings are restored in quiet contemplation, instead of baiting people on this board? Don’t you have better things to do or are you without a calling of any sort until your blessings are restored?

And IIRC the Mormons kidnapped your children, but that was posted under a different user name right?

I have hardly posted on the other board…and you know it. Just every few weeks, I post an update on my journey on the Social section. I do not post on the debate section.

No…the knock was the comment about the quote feature. This board is Non-Catholic Religion. LDS is anon-Catholic Religion. How is me posting “trolling”? And I have not started any threads bashing…or even posted bashing.

My gosh…are things so bad that my innocuous posts get everyone so worked up?

No…I think I discussed it under this name. In fact, I have addressed it today when another Catholic brought it up.

And it was not a kidnapping…it was an attempted kidnapping.

In every Church you find members…or priests…who do bad things.

Oh quit ,you know quit well that trolling (used t be known as baiting) is nothing like bashing.

The whole
“Catholic do/think/believe this unkind/unbiblical/unspiritual thing, but Mormons are great” “Mormons do/think/believe this unkind/unbiblical/unspiritual thing, but Catholics are great”
“Catholics do/think/believe this unkind/unbiblical/unspiritual thing, Mormons are great”

is getting rather tedious, you come to this board to stir up trouble, nothing else, you’ve done it as a Mormon, you’ve done it as a Catholic and you are predictably(and rightfully) banned for your behavior. You should expand your horizons, Reddit is wide open territory for what you like to do, and you won’t get banned and there is an almost endless group of new opponents to exchange snark with. There you can argue with a plethora of religious believers, agnostics, atheists and ex-Mormons.

I am sorry you feel that way 🙂
