Not to many LDS post on this forum in order to come to the true understanding of the Apostolic Faith. Most come to be reassured that their faith is true. Many of the questions are clearly answered at the Catholic Answers main area.

Or they come to convert as they feel that this is their calling and this is a good place to start without the face to face embarrassment, the fear of failure that we all have. Many just come and read the post, their place here in one of curiosity and questioning from inside themselves.

I have found that conversion comes when one diligently begins to search for the truth, keeping an open mind as best as is possible. catholic-rcia.com/pages/Saints/Siant_Justin.html
Not taking what others have told you as the gospel truth. Everyone is willing to tell others about the mountain that another has climbed, the difference comes in climbing this mountain all on your own, so that you can say you really climbed it.

I am involved in the Catholic RCIA in Northern Utah. I have been called to be involved ever since my baptism of six short years ago. I see people who come in as myself. It takes about five to six weeks of studying and praying for these souls to have their eyes and hearts open to something very big and astounding, rich in Christ, deep in Apostolic Tradition. Everything they once thought was true is thrown out the window. What does and will prevent some from continuing on to Traditional Baptism comes in the way of a very large Cross. Often a choice between Christ and those they love in this life have to be made. Many find that their families do come to accept them in time because they cannot deny the happiness that their loved one is finding, in the last place they ever thought they would find it. You have to get past the point of who is right and who is wrong and take this journey all on your own. If you find truth in the Church that Christ established in order to save sinners than this truth can set you free, not so much for yourself, but mostly for Christ and others. Your family and friends may, and can come to despise you, but Christ will always be with you and He will always be available to your friends and family.

I would challenge you to start attending the RCIA in your area. Let them know that you do not intend to become Catholic at this time. Tell them that you want to personally climb this mountain in order to see exactly what is at the peak. Then come back in a few months and share your climb with us Catholics.

God Bless
