LDS, what happens when women die before their husbands?

Okay, I am hoiping someone could answer this for me.

LDS believe that in order for a woman to reach the highest level of heaven, exaltation or something like that they must be sealed to a worthy priesthood holder correct?

That is why they get secret names in the temple so that their husband knows so that the woman can be called from her grave and be pulled through the veil by her husband, right?

So if a woman must have a priesthood holder to get to heaven, what happens if she dies before her husband?

Where does she go? Is she just like chilling? I don’t know, I was hoping someone could tell me.

Granted, I am not mormon but from reading stuff about the church the above is what I got out of it. Correct me if I am wrong.

She will go to Paradise where all “worthy” family members go after death to await the resurrection and judgment. Then they will be reunited along with all “worthy” members who were sealed and “endured” to the end.

First, you are mistaken that a woman has to be married to go to the highest level or celestial kingdom. Men and women can all receive the blesssings of this kingdom without being married as well as children who have died prior to the time they would even consider marriage. This is a misperception spread by those who are less familiar with LDS doctrine.

Second, if a woman is married and sealed to her husband in the temple and she dies before her husband, she will go where all people go, including men, children, and anyone who is married or not, namely the spirit world. The spirit world is the place where one prepares for the resurrection. When they are resurrected, if they have a temple marriage, they will rejoin their husband or wife as part of the judgement.

While it is true that one need not be married to make it to the lowest level of the celestial kingdom (you only need to be baptized and receive the Holy Ghost), to become a god - reaching the highest level of the CK, you need to be temple-married. If you get to the CK but don’t satisfy the requirements of godhood, you become a servant to those who do become gods. And that’s not what Mormons are working for.

Brigham Young taught that only those who are polygamously married will become gods.
