If we take a deep hard look at America and where it is at right now, do you see specks of socialism or communism? Is the government trying to sway Catholics to get on their side with certain issues as Le Sillon ded which was condemned by St.Pius X? I am not trying to scare people but just want to take a good hard look at where we are at in America.

Here is what St.Pius X said about Le Sillon -

SAINT PIUS X (1903-1914):

“But stranger still, alarming and saddening at the same time, are the audacity and frivolity of men who call themselves Catholics and dream of re-shaping society under such conditions, and of establishing on earth, over and beyond the pale of the Catholic Church, ‘the reign of love and justice’ … What are they going to produce? … A mere verbal and chimerical construction in which we shall see, glowing in a jumble, and in seductive confusion, the words Liberty, Justice, Fraternity, Love, Equality, and human exultation, all resting upon an ill-understood human dignity. It will be a tumultuous agitation, sterile for the end proposed, but which will benefit the less Utopian exploiters of the people. Yes, we can truly say that the Sillon, its eyes fixed on a chimera, brings Socialism in its train.” (Apostolic Letter Notre Charge Apostolique “Our Apostolic Mandate”] to the French Bishops, August 25, 1910, condemning the movement Le Sillon)

Of course America is heading towards socialism, pretty close to already being there and certain aspects of communism are popular in the US.

The problem is, it is being done under the name of other, more harmless ideas, also it is being done very slowly and methodically, so people are more likely to accept it and not think anything is wrong with it.

I think if our founding fathers could see what has become of their once great nation, they would be rolling in their graves! It is sad when I see news reports of people waving the flag and proclaiming how great this country is today, the only thing I can think of is they are blind to all the immoral things that go on in this country and the govt that is leading us down a bad path.

History doesn’t repeat itself, but it does rhyme. I doubt we’re ever going to see a Leninist-style socialism in America or any other traditionally democratic country, at least within our lifetimes, for the simple reason that that would be too obvious. Even a complacent person would have warning bells going off. Satan knows we’re stupid, but we’re not that stupid, so he always tweaks an unoriginal idea a little bit to give it the flare of originality and progressiveness again. More than likely it will just be a clever and gradual chiseling away of accountability done in the name of a counterfeit compassion.

But, hard times have a way of getting people’s attention, and good times have a way of making people lose it. A couple of decades of stagnation can help reverse the trends we’re seeing right now, but it will be hard to ever make a full recovery since there’s a couple of evil things that have become non-negotiable. A complacent person will not, and cannot, recognize the immense role that object-based sexuality is playing in weakening society. They see it as almost a non-issue.

The last couple of sentences made me think. Most politicians and economists would not think to link continued stagnation with the fact that some evil things have become prevalent in society; and that everyone thinks of them as good and non-negotiable. One thinks of Sandra Fluke’s overheated rhetoric proclaiming free birth control as a constitutional right. But people only think like that because free and uncommitted sex has already seemingly become a constitutional right.

The family began disintegrating with the widespread acceptance of artificial contraception. It will be very hard to have a strong economy with weak families, which is what we seem to be stuck with. If families weaken enough, the foundations of society are threatened, bringing social chaos. And at that point, everyone will desire a strong (tyrannical) government to step in.
