Leaflet Missal--anyone else just love this catalog?

I just adore Fr Leo Clifford’s reflections…I used to watch him regularly back in Pittsburgh, in the early morning hours he’d be on EWTN. I don’t know if he still is, I usually am driving my son to school early, and don’t catch much tv in the morning.

Anyone else agree? I was so delighted to see his reflections being sold in a dvd package in the latest Leaflet Missal. Yay!👍

I also bought Fr Groeschel’s rosary–I have a beautiful cd already (Living Waters) but, I wanted something new…and I LOVE Fr Groeschel!!!

Ugh, that Leaflet Missal is so great, I want to buy everything out of there. 😊 Anyone else buy anything, recently? (This is my second thread on this, for those who remember, yes I’m a wee bit addicted…but it’s like having a mini Catholic shoppe at my fingertips):o

Oh, I missed the Fr. Leo DVD. I love LM. I order (too much) lots of stuff for my CCE classes from that catalog. And they have Christmas and Advent items I have never seen anywhere else.

So, yes, I love this catalog! 👍
 
What is Father Groeschel’s Rosary CD like? Is there music, is it scriptural with each Hail Mary, or scriptural with each mystery. I am looking for one - but not sure what I want.
 
The title of your post caught my eye…and now?
Okay. So, instead of listening to the radio or talking to myself (okay, I admit it) - I can get a missal on CD? I’d love to get some litanies or the Rosary of the Holy Wounds / Chaplet of Divine Mercy, etc. It’s not that I can’t say those by myself but it’s hard to keep track of what decade one is at without someone leading. More please? And thanks.

I highly recommend the cd, Living Waters (I think that is the name, it’s been a while since I looked at the cover) rosary. I bought it off amazon believe it or not! Soft music in the background, a group of people say the rosary together, and one person ‘announces’ each next new mystery.

I would imagine Fr Groeschel’s is the same…but I also get the sense that he probably will elaborate on each mystery for the listeners. I’m excited! The description just says that he will be the reciter of the rosary…

If any of you haev verizon for your home cable service…there is a great Catholic section…I was so pleasantly surprised that verizon offers this to its viewers! And within it, there is a priest …his name is Fr Reed, I believe he teaches at Notre Dame…not sure. But, his rosaries are…wow, something else. He really goes into detail as to each mystery, with how own thoughts and reflections…and he is just so nice. :o I would love to meet him, and other great priests, like Fr Groeschel…

I love Leaflet-Missal! I have ordered quite a few “Holy reminders” as Mother Angelica called them. I have purchased rosaries, rosary bracelets, 1st Holy Commuion & Confirmation gifts, books, c.d.'s, a Crucifix. I love the company & have had no problems what so ever with any orders. I love Father Leo, too & I believe he is still on EWTN in the morning & afternoon.🙂
 
My hubby and I love looking through the magazine. However we usually don’t have the money to spend on anything. This year though my son is receiving first communion. I CAN’T WAIT!!! We’d like to get something for him. I usually end up dog earring half the pages because there is something there I’d like to buy. We’ll have to check out the rosaries you are all talking about. Hubby has the Chaplet of Divine Mercy on CD and have just about worn that one out! 😃

My favorite is one that was done by the seminarians at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit “Beg the Master of the Harvest”

It features a reflection on each Mystery done by a seminarian, who focuses on what that particular Mystery means to the priesthood. The prayers are accompanied by light organ music.

It’s the one I keep in the car and listen to\from work.

There are sample reflections on the website above, the sound is a little rough on the samples, but much better on the CD.
 
I have the Fr Groeschel’s w/ Simonette The Rosary is a Place CD. Fr elaborates on the mysteries a bit and then there is music between the mysteries. It’s nice and meditative. His voice is very soothing.
 
Yes-I love their catalog, too!

I have several things that I’ve ordered from them-mostly books.

I always like it when they have statues of saints that you don’t see too often.

I just had to add my opinion. Love Leaflet Missal! Get their catalogs all the time and if I bought all I wanted, I’d never have any money left. I like that they have hard-to-find items, too.
