In the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Paragraph 828 states:
Code:
The saints have always been the source and origin of renewal in the most difficult moments of the Church's history.

When you attended Catholic grade school, what saints did you learn about?

Probably the Blessed Mother and Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton.

Saint Francis. Watched the strangest video about him actually. Way to many flowers and schizophrenic type episodes from St. Francis in that movie. That’s 80’s B grade movies though I guess 🤷.

Father Damien and Mother Teresa and Saint Paul. We also had books about the saint available and I read “Our Lady Came to Fatima” and a book about Saint Margaret Clitherow and each of the books left a great impression upon me.
I wish every school had the vision series and the Tan Saints books available.
Nowadays, my grade school has a Saints day study and dress up and presentation so that children teach each other about many of the saints.👍

We learned about St. Peter, St. Andrew, St. James (son of Zebedee), St. John, St. Philip, St. Bartholomew, St. Thomas, and St. Matthew.

The Holy Family, the Apostles. One of my teachers had the foresight to have me write a report on Pope (now Saint) John XXIII.

St Anthony, St Christopher, St Francis, St Bernadette, St Lucy of Fatima, St Maria Goretti, St Therese of Lisieux, St Nicholas (of course!), St Peter, St James, St John, St Matthew & St Thomas, St Mary Magdalene & St Paul.
