Learning a lot

Hi everyone,

I’ve just joined this forum & I must say I’m impressed!! I have to admit that I thought that I knew a lot about Christianity & Catholicism in particular but I know very little at all.

I’m an Anglo Catholic who attends a church that considers itself Catholic in every way but we are not in communion with Rome which I think is a great shame. Maybe one day…

I also have a degree in Philosophy from a top university & like many people who have ‘read a few books’ thought that I had things all pinned down. It makes me sad to often speak with people who think they have it all worked out, from the atheist who says thay Christianity is ‘all junk’ to the Christian who thinks that only they know what God wants.

I’m discovering new things all the time & look forward to exploring this forum.

Howdy and welcome. This place is awesome! I’ve been on here since 2006 I think. I’ll have to check on that. I have learned so much from this forum. From the actual responses from posters and also from links that posters provide on occasion. There is a wealth of information on these forums!
