Can I get some suggestions on a good at-home program to learn Biblical Hebrew?

Or maybe Latin?

No Rosetta Stone, thanks.

Here are some sites about Latin.

Zondervan has a really good basic Hebrew textbook called “Hebrew for the Rest of Us”. I’m learning Biblical Greek, so I can vouch for the ease and usability of the “Rest of Us” books. And, they’re reasonably priced, too. Check Amazon.

Contact the nearest synagogue. They will probably have the best suggestions for at home learning. In my experience, nothing compares to a class though. We all learn differently though.

I agree with @billsherman. Hebrew, either Biblical or modern, is a very difficult language, particularly in the early stages, mainly because it’s so different from European languages. It gets a little easier later on, once you have formed a general idea of how the language works. I would suggest going to classes rather than relying on home study. Your local synagogue should be able to point you in the right direction.
