If you are worried about something, and it causes you anxiety, will praying to God and putting it in his hands and trusting him make it more likely to end in your favor? I’m mainly talking about things such as being worried about side effects from medication- side effects that usually only occur in small percentages of patients to begin with. Will having faith increase your odds?

I have already had some experience with leaving things in his hands and, from what I can see, it seems to be effective. There was one thing that kept me feeling anxious and worried. Then one night I decided that I was going to leave it all up to him, and almost immediatley the problem took care of itself. Should I use this as a sign that I should deal with all of my fears and anxieties this way?

We should bring all our worries and concerns to God… He loves us, and He wants us to do just that! Now, sometimes our prayers may not be answered in the way that we expect them to be answered, but He will answers them…

Prayer is heavily encouraged in stress management classes. And stress is the source of many of the bodily malfunctions.

Just being practical here. If God wills it, you will be healed whether it’s stress-related or not.
