Hello. As the title said by itself, I am stopping of pray because I am in my father’s home, and I do not have my own room. I cannot go to the Church: sometimes only with my father and brother. I stay at home frequently: the major part of the day.
Summing up, what I should do here at my father’s house?? Including my confessor caught my attention because I am not praying, although I not talk with him about this matter.
Sorry for my bad english, I am not an American.

PS.: My stepmother lives also here.
PS².: I know I am talking very much about this, but it’s a big problem.

Maybe there are factors of which I’m not aware, but it’s possible to pray at anytime, anywhere. I pray wherever I am… in the car, in the kitchen, walking in shops…

No matter where you are, or what you’re doing, God is listening.

Yes, but I mean in this case to praying the Rosary.

If you cannot pray the Rosary, just tell Mary you are sorry and try to do something else.

Maybe you have a bible there, or can read a passage from the Bible from time to time on the computer? You could also read about a saint. Pray to the Holy Spirit before you start to read, then, as you go about your day, think about what you read.

Don’t forget your morning and night prayers!

What/who is stopping you from praying? How? You can pray silently in any position, sitting, standing. You can pray the rosary without using the traditional beads.

You help me so much, thanks!! 🙂

I believe it is the lack of privacity, that the others (my father, stepmother or brother, or even others visitors) see me praying. How to “heal” that problem?

I pray silently all the time, everywhere.
I pray the rosary while I walk, while I fill stock water troughs, while I cook.

I pray Our Father too.

Its quite ok to pray while you are doing other things, and pray silently.

You can use fingers to count. And its ok not to get the count right. Its more important to think about words you are praying 😇

Pray silently for those you talk too.

God Bless you on your journey home.

Thank you! This helps!

Hi Milton,

As the others have said here already, you don’t have to recite prayers aloud.

You can pray them silently to yourself, where no one else even has to know that you are praying. God still hears your prayers, even if they are said silently.

You don’t need a Rosary, to say the Rosary. You can use your fingers to pray the decades of the Rosary. Just count the decades, using your fingers, instead. 🙂

May God bless you for your efforts, and for trying. Don’t worry about it, but just do your best. :yup: :console:
