Saw a book on my shelf last night and thought of this tread, and of you šŸ™‚

You may want to research a Doctor of the Church, St Hildegard of Bingen. You and she may find a friendship.

This is great, so much great info! I went yesterday and picked up both the Didache and the Ignatius Study Bible and the good 'ol Saint Josephs Sunday Missal. I will definitely check out Hildagard Von Bingham. I actually think she’s my Patron Saint!
I was originally supposed to spend today at a DSA (Democratic Socialists of America) workshop. Now I am leaving DSA and a lot of other activities I have participated in. It’s a big decision to go back to Catholicism and it effects everything. I can’t wait to tell my Social Justice Warrior Daughter!
I am reading every comment and appreciate every single peace of advice or prayer offering I get. This forum is such a blessing! I love the books recommendations, too!
Many Thanks!!

Social Justice is very much part of Catholicism. I am a very proud SJW!!!
As a member of the Dorothy Day guild, I’d have to be.
This is a very interesting blog http://www.femcatholic.com/
You may want to look at the American Solidarity Party for politics, get a copy of the ā€œCompendium of the Social Doctrine of the Churchā€ (you can read for free on the Vatican website.
Catholic Charities is the largest outreach org on planet earth.

Ooooo! Thank you for the resources! I know a bit about Dorothy Day, I just saw a special about her the other day. I will check out the website right now!!šŸ˜‰
