Panic as New Fire Erupts at Beirut Port​

A new blaze erupted Tuesday at Beirut port, sparking panic among the citizens of a nation still reeling from the cataclysmic August 4 explosion.

“The fire at Beirut port erupted in a pile of waste and remnants of material resulting from the Aug. 4 blast and firefighters are dousing it,” LBCI TV reported.

Al-Jadeed television said “some of the rubble at Beirut port caught fire and the site of the blaze is far from the site of the Aug. 4 blast.”

Considering that their government has continued to deny responsibility and hasn’t lifted a finger to clean up or look for survivors and the people have zero trust in them…of course anything that occurs that could rekindle their fears, will!

Their government is teetering on the edge of collapse…it can’t happen soon enough!
 
Their Christian president has ties with Hezbollah and Iran. The corruption among the elite runs completely through the entire government. Bribery is a way of life! You can take a drivers license test and pass it and still have to fork over some grease money to get it issued.

The people there are fed up. Especially once the economy collapsed and inflation is running at 110%. The explosion just aggravated everyone further. The government has skimmed so much money off of every dollar that goes through Lebanon and now, they can’t find anymore to skim. The IMF has money waiting to lend but won’t release it until changes are guaranteed. ie. No more skimming! The further blockades are choking them in their own corruption…thus, they are about to collapse. I’m not sure they even know HOW to be honest!
