Lectio Divina - prayer group, will I find it?

Hi,

even I am not sure whether it is right place to ask, I wonder:

Last year shortly in summer two religious sisters led a prayer group in one of the parish’s church in the area where I live, a prayer group according Lectio Divina. I enjoyed it a lot! since I’ve read the book about this prayer of Bible and I love to pray it on my own. However, the sisters after while moved into other town.

Do someone know about this kind of prayer group around Edinburgh, UK? How I can became more familiar with this prayer in a group, I mean is there any training? - in case I won’t find any to be well formed to became a leader of one Lectio Divina prayer group myself

if you search this forum under lectio divina there are several threads, and there is a link to a great site on lectio. Learn to do it on your own, then you can adapt it to a prayer group if you find one. Until then look for a group that meets weekly for faith sharing with the Sunday gospel.
