What happens to the remaining Eucharist after each Mass? Is it used again?

The Eucharist is retained in the tabernacle for future use. It could be used at a future mass. It can also be brought to the sick or those who can not attend mass.

It is put into the tabernacle for reservation for one of several things:
  1. To be administered as viaticum for people near death.
  2. To be administered to people who cannot go to Mass for whatever reason.
  3. To be administered to people who just want to receive Holy Communion.
  4. To be administered in a future Mass if not enough hosts are consecrated.
  5. To be placed into a monstrance for Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction.
But no matter what it is used for, in the end, someone consumes It.

Other posters are correct regarding the Consecrated Host. The Precious Blood, however, is normally completely consumed at each Mass. Only in rare circumstances is the Consecrated Wine reserved.
