Last night when flipping the channels I came upon a show that was promoting the idea of robot marriage for (not kidding)

They where using the president for gay marriage to push thier ideas and said there are 1000’s of men wanting to marry robots in the US right now and 2 companies are working and life like women robots.

Your question makes me think of an episode of Futurama… It is a cartoon meant for adults made by the same guy who makes the Simpsons. Anyhow, it is an episode where one of the women wishes to marry Bender, who is a robot. “Support Robosexual Marriage” was the theme of the episode. I can’t imagine anybody actually arguing for it, though. 🙂

50 years ago who actually thought we’d have to endure discussions of homosexual marriage?

20?

Don’t be a hater. Robots deserve equality. Why do we think we are better than they are? Let’s stop the oppression and bigotry now.

This really could become reality …

I was also reading about how science in the united states where couples do invetro fertilization and then they have multiple embryos which they use or sex selection

So nothing is far fetched

:bigyikes::rotfl::rotfl::whacky:

Lol I was thinking the same thing! 😃

Anything to justify Sin.

First we justify murder (Abortion)
Now we justify same sex, sex… (Called Gay Marriage)
What’s next?? Don’t answer, the list is longer then the ocean is deep.

When you take God out of society, schools, etc. this is what you end up with…

And once this kicks off they’ll start doing furries too… and I will be hiding in my basement…

Robots are not conscious. They cannot love etc. Regardless of one’s views on gay marriage, * the analogy with marrying robots is invalid and shows a basic misunderstanding of logic.
  • Unless one holds the absurd position that gays cannot love or be loved.

If you think two men can “marry” that fails the logic test.

Read post 10 again.I took no position (pro or con) as to gay marriage. My only point was that the analogy of marrying robots is silly and shows a lack of basic logic skills.
Even if I agree with a person’s position and they make a moronic argument, I will still point out that their “argument” is moronic.
Yep, I’m old school, the truth is more important to me then winning.

Not really. The analogy simply illustrates how abnormal homosexuality is on a technical level.

What’s love got to do with it?

Robot marriage is no more illogical than “gay” marriage. Both are impossible and honestly I have used the analogy of robotics before in arguing against faux marriage. Once one artificially defines marriage there are no boundaries.

Love has a great deal to do with marriage…but it is far from the only consideration. For one thing, potential marriage partners must be compatible on a biological level. An illicit, unnatural, and unholy amour between two people—be it an adult and a juvenile, or persons of the same gender—is morally berift, biologically unfruitful, and just all-around lousy.

There are different types of love. My love for my wife is different then my love for my daughter (a juvenile ). I am sure that most gay men would agree that if a gay man married a gay juvenile, that is WRONG. I and my wife have gay friends. None are child molesters,or even have an interest in such things.
My attitude is that I hate liver and refuse to eat it. However, if someone loves liver I do not think of him as a moral degenerate. Similarly, I am disgusted by the thought of me kissing a guy. But if someones else likes it…its really none of my business.
