Legally getting married in India

Hi, I’m a catholic from sri lanka and I would like to get married to a girl in Kerala.(she is also a catholic)
Can anyone tell me what should I do to legally get married( ex : getting married in church)

If I can get married in church, what are the documents do I and my future wife need to produce?

Congratulations!
I would recommend you talk to your priest as well ask your fiancee to talk to her priest and find out what the requirements are.
I have been away from India for a very long time that I do not know what is needed there to get married.
Here in Canada, the couple has to do a marriage prep course. (Think it is the same in India) And we also needed a marriage license from the city ( Not sure if that is required in India)
