To a certain extent, we share in Christ’s suffering by taking up our “daily crosses.”
I’m so curious to know what you consider as daily crosses in your lives. Mine is unresolved issues in my family, which have never disappeared no matter how much effort I put in to solve them.

I hope you’re willing to share your daily crosses.

Chronic pain.
Chronic depression, anxiety, C-PTSD.
Non-diabetic hypoglycemia.
Low income, with lotsa kids, which is hard on the kids.
Major family-of-origin issues.

Life is hard… Lots to offer up… Thank God for allowing me to suffer with him!

😊😊😊

whoa. You really have a LOT to offer to Jesus. Keep the faith! I will pray for you, Psyche.

Actually, it doesn’t feel like a lot. I guess I’m used to it LOL

Thank you so much for your prayers! I’ll return the favor 😇

I know my priest’s secret. That’s probably the heaviest one.

Indeed, it is…I sympathize. So you gave him a vow of your lifetime silence on this matter?

Of course you want to protect a respectable priest. Just keep on praying for him. May God give you relief from carrying this burden.

My family members are non believers. It breaks my heart to imagine them in Hell. They want nothing to do with Christ and it hurts me very deeply. I would give anything for them to believe. There’s also depression and psychosis that I have to deal with every day.

I feel for you, drac16. I believe there’s still hope for your family. Just keep on praying for their much-awaited conversion. I’ll take note of this and pray for them, I will also pray for the total and permanent healing of psychosis. With God, everything is possible. I often see you praying for others in the prayer section. Keep on. God has something good in store for you, just keep the faith.

Women (lust), sloth, self-centeredness, pride, insecurity, seeking approval.

Probably many more

OMG man, and you found the time to pray for my lousy interview the other day!? I promise you I will never bother you again with such random bull!!! You’re a good man, your baptism was a beautiful video!!

Complete lack of time, difficulty getting everything in. Showed up to Mass this morning, I was about 3 minutes late, then for some reason I still don’t know the lot was totally full and people including me had to park in illegal spots and dodge all these pedestrians. When I got inside I had missed 10 minutes dealing with the parking and therefore missed the readings and me and about 10 people were all standing in the vestibule because for some unknown reason the Mass had like 3 times as many people as it usually does (perhaps they took up all the parking as well). By this point I was so frustrated that I wanted to walk out but the kind eyes of Our Lady of Perpetual Help hanging in the vestibule encouraged me to persevere. So I stayed for the Mass and then ended up about 10 min late to work as well.
I am also frustrated when I cannot find the collects for saints online. I am starting a spreadsheet to fix this problem.

I realize these seem very small and I’m supposed to say World Peace or Addiction or something, but I am being honest. This stuff is like a hang nail or a pebble in your shoe. It’s small but it is annoying as heck. My mother always mentioned St. Therese and the sister who ground a fingernail on her teeth at prayer time. It’s like that.

Continual illness.
The lack of faith in my family.

I thank God for the cross of continual illness … I’m going to need a lot of help getting into heaven.

Perhaps the biggest cross I bear is the rejection, not just of me, but the rejection from the top important parish congregation, upon anyone…anyone… they decide is unworthy of Gods love and forgiveness.
I pray to know how God is working in this situation and what his will is…
It would be a sin to list everything. I want to speak to a spiritual director yet the best Spiritual DIrector we have is Jesus Christ. so I pray that I am led to the word, the scriptures, that will speak to me.

The biggest cross I bear is the knowledge of cruelty. I just can’t stand it. I could get graphic about it but I won’t.

I feel for you, but I find it hard to digest this…you said that a top parish congregation rejected you because it decided that you are unworthy of God’s love and forgiveness? How did this happen? Please, kindly give the specifics.
