Is your parish doing a Lenten Mission? One parish in Kansas City is posting the audio of the parish mission to the web. If yesterday’s “prelude” sermon is any indication, this is going to be quite a set of sermons/conferences. I am curious though: are all Redemptorist priests have as intense of a preaching style?

I don’t know, but I wish ALL priests were this intense when preaching. I was there, and I can tell you-NO ONE was bored during this long sermon, not even the children.
Can’t wait to attend tonight’s mission.

The forum link referenced in the previous message is no longer any good, but the mission is complete and the free (16kbps mp3), online version of the audio is available for those who want it. Even if you’re on dialup you can start listening to the audio right away while it downloads by using the streaming link:

If you would rather buy the CD’s, the price for the six talk, 5 CD set is $34.95 (price includes shipping). Email me at info@aquinasmedia.com for more info.

We had a Redemptorist a few years back, and yes, he was intense.

I am worried this year that our mission is going to be some charismatic healing service. If so, I won’t be going:thumbsup: .
