Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you know that I’ve included you all in my rosary. I don’t say much to people who ask for prayers because many times I feel so inadequate or I am just simply at a loss for words. I know that some people mention each person by name…but I am just not good at remembering names. Anyway, I’ve really cut down on coming in here (for lent). I’m an alcoholic-as you can see by my little writing at the bottum I have an addiction problem-but I am sober:thumbsup:but I always have to be on the look out for new addictions:shrug: Anyway I just wanted to let you all know that I am praying for you…because I am also a Prayer Warrior:knight2::cool:and I haven’t stopped praying

Thank you very much for praying for all in need, Lainey. Our prayers for you too.

Yes I often feel like that, at a loss for how to pray as much and as deeply as I want to when faced by anyone’s difficulties. I just want to rush into God’s presence and ask as powerfully as I can, and often I feel helpless and what I do say in prayer often seems so inadequate. Sometimes others’ sadness and troubles seem so overwhelming. But it all comes down to trust in God’s love and grace.

One way of keeping people’s names and needs clear as you pray for them, is to click ‘quote’ instead of ‘post reply’ so that you can continue to see the original and then when you’ve prayed, however simply, You can then delete the quoted post from your response. I do that sometimes if a request is complex.

May God bless you this Lent, Lainey.
I praise God for helping you with the addiction issue, and bless Him for the courage of your response to His grace.
