Is the last day of sacrifice for lent (you know how we give something up as penance) the first day of the Triduum or is it the beginning of Easter Day (which begins at Dusk on the Saturday before Easter).
You won’t find any rules from the Church on this, because it is only a pious devotion. What I can tell you is that Lent officially ends before the Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday. Holy Thursday is in fact a day of celebration (we sing the Gloria and the priest wears white). Good Friday is a day of fasting and abstinence, Holy Saturday is a day of waiting, and Easter (including the vigil) is a celebration of the Lord’s Resurrection! Is the last day of sacrifice for lent (you know how we give something up as penance) the first day of the Triduum or is it the beginning of Easter Day (which begins at Dusk on the Saturday before Easter).
