Let Me Pray for you for Lent

For Lent I am praying for anyone and everyone who asks. I want to focus on Matthew 5:44. Because you are all my Church family I want to pray for you all this Lent and my objective is to pray for every single request that comes to me from now and until Easter Triduum. I want to spend this Lent thinking about others more than myself and so in addition to my usual prayer intentions, I want to pray for other Christians and everyone else in the world especially those who are facing injustice and those that persecute them. I have started this on some of the facebook groups I am a part of. Make your request known. I will be doing rosaries, divine mercy chaplets, going to adoration and much more during Lent. If you have a personal request or anything you would like me to pray for please let me know. I will be taking all the requests to the adoration chapel every Saturday morning. You can give as much or as little detail as you want to but you are not obligated. I hope you know that there is someone who is willing to pray for you during Lent. Have a prayerful and reflective Lent my brothers and sisters in Christ. God bless all of you <3
 
You are so kind. Would you please pray for my son? I (and many wonderful members on this site) have been praying for him for a very long time for a conversion of his heart. Thank you so much. I will remember you and your kindness at mass.

I will absolutely remember your son in my prayers Irishmom2. You are an amazing mother for not giving up on your son and will also pray that Christ will keep you strong and continue to pray for him.
 
Could you pray for my coworker who is excited to go to a male stripper club for a birthday party with friends this weekend as she happily informed me the other day? She has no religious influence in her life, and based on what she’s said her life growing up has been anything but traditional. All of her siblings are from different mothers and she wasn’t raised by either of her parents but got passed around between grandparents, aunts, and the mothers of the other siblings. She has continued her family situation by being a single mother. Praise the Lord that she contemplated abortion, but never went through with it. She absolutely loves her son to death.

Also, can you pray for me because even though I told her it was wrong to go to the strip club she said there wasn’t anything wrong with it and even if there was she wasn’t paying for it and instead was just going to be sitting there and I find myself upset with her? I would like to have more charity toward her and find myself dwelling on my frustration and disappointment with her. Confession and Eucharistic adoration has done much to calm me and bring forgiveness for her, but I still get caught in moments where I’m thinking about it again.
 
Hi RoseScented. I would be more than happy to pray for you and your coworker 😊 I also want to offer you some scripture as well Ephesians 4:31-32. It sounds like because she lived most of her life not knowing God’s and I think that living your entire life that way is so sad. I think its why so many people choose the things that they do because they have never taken the time to feel the love of their Father in heaven. I think the Holy Spirit really made her think about the abortion and I think that that is a sign of hope for her. I hope that she will find God’s love and live her life in the way of righteousness instead of sin. I will pray that the Lord can soften your heart and let you be a His instrument that helps bring her home to Him. I know you care because you are praying for her. God bless you ❤️
 
If you wouldn’t mind, could you please pray for my daughter and her son … my daughter is pregnant again and her son is always coming down with some kind of illness … praying that she gets through this pregnancy without catching any illness and that her son can stay healthy. Thank you.

I will also add you to my lenten prayers.
 
If you would be so willing pray for my conversion to belief in God and faith to grow.

Struggling1 I remember when I was at that point and as part of my lenten prayers I have been praying for the people converting this Easter and the people who are still searching for God. I will add your personal request to my list as well. I also want to offer some words of encouragement 🙂 Don’t be afraid to reach out to God and get to know our Lord better because His love and mercy is a very special thing and no matter where you are with your faith right now, he will not abandon you. God love you and I am praying for you 🙏 ❤️
