I woke up this morning reflecting on how violent this world still is. My prayers for today are focused on peace.

Dear Lord I pray that all humanity reflects on the beauty of the world around us. Every single place on earth sings out to you glorifying your presence. You made this world perfect for us to share and enjoy together.

I pray that all humans treat other human beings with love and compassion. Your Son Jesus is our best teacher… he gave everything for us - friends and foe alike. He gave his life so that we can live. I beg that we forget our differences, our pride, our stubbornness and our prejudices and look upon our neighbours as our own brothers and sister. Let us accept strangers with a warm embrace in realization of your teachings.

I beg you my Lord to give me the strength to be different. Let me be your tool to spread love and peace. Help me to get out of my comfortable environments and to reach out to others. Help me be a person that does not sit back and expect others to work for peace. Let me be your wind of peace.

Thank you Lord - I know you will be there for us. If we ask we will be showered with your loving gifts so I humbly ask one and all to pray for peace and that we may all become instruments of love and affection.

🙂 I fervently pray for all your beautiful intentions. I would only add a prayer for the forgiveness of the sins of all the world, and for our protection from all sin, all evils and all ills. I ask for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Blessed Mother Theresa, and all the angels, saints, blesseds, venerables, all the unknown saints, all the holy souls in Purgatory, and all the people of Heaven. Yes pray for peace, but we also have to recognize that Gods will be done, not our willl.

and today many live in a world of greed and demand that others sacrific, but we dont want to sacrific…

Religion has to go hand in hand with Government/politics, for if we live in a Godless civilization we cannot then also expect peace, for that is impossible

the US is in a war of OIL, and that demands a great war to extract oil from other nations, the killing of those that want dont want their resources pilfered, so how can people in the US that want to USE 25% of the fossil fuel by 5% of the world population, spend trillions on war, nuclear bombs, and murder and execution of others to maintain the consumption of OIL, really desire peace to others at the same time???

Can people calll themselves Christians , and pray for peace, and yet look on to a govenrment that wars in other nations that have never attacked the US in any way shape or form, to extract thier resoures, so the US can live in luxury, while their cities and towns are burnt and the people executed?
