The atheists have enough believers who battle them on YouTube. How about instead of battling them, we battle the demons who torture them, using the weapons of faith, virtue, and prayer.

Why do it? They’ll just delete any comments which prove them wrong or that they don’t like. Then their egos will be inflated further.

And of course, your videos will be inundated with the most vile, hateful comments, scaring off anyone who doesn’t want to get involved in the debate, just wanted to see your video. Then you’d have to delete comments and watch how fast you’ll be accused of deleting things that proved you wrong…

And if you disable comments? Watch the accusations of stifling free speech fly.

There is a time for mirror smashing - but youtube is not the place. The atheists won’t allow you to smash their mirrors on their turf.

“Never wrestle with a pig—you get dirty and the pig likes it” is especially true if you choose to wrestle with pigs on their turf.

i have a plenty thick skin, i get kicked off atheist boards. youre right they wont allow their mirrors to be broken on their home turf, youtube isnt their home turf, and if they think it is ill post anyway. so im not worried about me. i do need help, to make good videos, but im more than willing to take the heat.

You might want to watch Karen Armstrong’s presentation.

You have to get your ethos, logos, and pathos all in line. Armstrong does an excelent job with her limited argument.

great, those are the exact kind of ideas im looking for. do you know how to youtube? i can take the heat, but i need help to animate or make voiceover clips.

I’m not much of an animator, or director for that matter. I do like to spitball ideas, though.

I’m not much of an animator, or director for that matter. I do like to spitball ideas, though.

cool, im trying to see if i can use something like creatoon or some other animator. they may be too much for me, i have no artistic side to speak of. im interested in any ideas you might have. im working on a proof from free will, just as in the thread “warpspeedpeteys’ proof” for my first one.

of course all may come to nought, i make no promises on my own, i dont have the necessary skill set.

Don’t worry. Sooner or later there will come a time when they will know that God exists. We don’t live forever.

We should pray for their conversion, especially by praying the Rosary, since confronting them verbally will not do much good.

see. they are operating under a set of rules originally developed to spread communism in western societies, written by a man named alinsky, who died in 1972 and didnt live long enough to see that communism was an epic fail.

now, most of them have no clue the relation of their atheism and liberalism in general to alinskies ideas to organize against capitalism, and the underlying Christain social values. yet their ge neral tactics belie the connection

so, for me, it is about inoculating the masses from atheism. by using the rules against them.

as they say, fight fire with fire.

as i said, its more for the inoculation of others against the facile atheist arguments, not so much about conversion of indiviual atheists. though, i dont know if i will be able to as no one has offered any technical help yet and learning even basic 2d animation takes some time.

Why don’t we just pick a famous youtube atheist, and all at a determined time, each post refutations of his arguments. We can pick a time that will give us plenty of time to write, and then post.
